The journey
How Dilsho works
Two sides - customer and shop - one smooth flow. Here is the whole journey of an order.
- Search. A customer searches a product and sees every nearby shop that stocks it - with live prices pulled straight from each shop's POS. No stale catalogues, no "call to confirm".
- Order. They add items, drop a delivery pin, and place the order. No online payment in Phase 1 - everything is settled in cash on delivery, the way local shopping already works.
- Deliver. The shop packs the order and assigns it to one of its own people - the owner, a salesman or the shop's rider. No middlemen, no strangers.
- Track. The customer sees who is bringing the order and every status change until it is delivered and paid in cash.

The customer
Live prices while browsing, a clear order status after checkout, and the name of the person bringing it until the doorbell rings.
The shop
A new-order alert on the dashboard and the POS, a pick list to pack against, and stock that adjusts itself the moment items leave the shelf.
The delivery staff
A shop employee with the Deliveries mode in the Dilsho app: the address, the amount to collect and two buttons - picked up, delivered.
